Do you have a pet dog that has a great temperament? Do they like to be around children? Would you both like to train as Empathy Animal Volunteers?
It’s a rewarding journey for you both to train as a Therapy Duo. Your relationship and understanding of each other will heighten and you’ll be helping children to learn valuable empathy lessons.

Please note we are unable to accept applications from owners who feed a raw diet or raw food products to their dog.
Minimum age of 18 months for dogs, however, you can start the process before this time and graduate when they turn 18 months.

Role & Responsibilities
Help to build and develop a consistent relationship with local school/s in your area.
Make regular visits for our Hang-Out sessions and Empathy Animals Lab.
Ensure at all times that you are working within the “Empathy Animals Volunteer Procedures & Policies”, and safeguarding the welfare of the children.
Be committed to the welfare of your dog and make sure they are happy and healthy.
Act appropriately within a school environment.
